“This is how the job is done! Fantastic agency!”
In february '11 my husband and I decided to visit India which we had dreamed about for a while. Unforunately we had only 7 days and decided to see the famous Golden Triangle. As this was our first visit to India, we did not want to take any risks and decided to hire an agency. After reading all fantastic reviews on Tirp advisor it looked like a best choice...We posted the querry on their internet site and very promptly received the response and proposal of our tour. It was just 2 weeks prior to our arrival to India. They suggested great tour, really targeting things we wanted to see and they were very flexible to our additional requests as I wanted to see almost impossible amount of things during our stay. When we started receiving the mails from the owner of the agency Mr. Tapas I could hardly believe that someone is not joking with me as Mr. Tapas was out of this world polite and soooo nice that one could not believe it was true. Once you get used to this very nice conversation and easy agreement you start enjoying your trip even before it started. If you choose them be confident that yhey will meet all your requirements. They are very professional andI can say that this is the best travel agency I have ever used, and I traveled a lot. About their services: Our tour was customised Golden Triangle tour, we visited New & Old Delhi, Agra, Jaipur, and had short visits to Chomu, Mathura, Vrindavan, Samode, Abhaneri village, Galwar Bagh (the Monkey temple) We wanted a private tour so we chose a vehicle and got a driver who was at our disposal 247 during our whole stay. The driver (Ranjeet) was such a nice man and I realy believe he represented the tru Indian hospitality, mentality and politeness. Wish more people like this you can meet back in Europe. Anyway, he really introduced us to true Indian way of living and thinking. He was so quiet and did not talk much in order not to bother us but when you start talking to him he is so nice, so natural and so modest. This is the kind of people that live all around India. Realy a great experience. The organization was fantastic. Everything was according to the plan, even if we wanted tochange something it was possible to do on site and nothing was a problem. In every single city that we visited we had a guide. Our Agra, Jaipur, Mathura & Vrindavan guides were realy great and we learned so many from them, and they were realy following our pace and talked exactly as much as we wanted to know. On the other side our guide in Delhi was so interested and was more watching at his watch to see the time and waiting for our tour to end, so this is the point for the agency to revise. Apart from that big thanks to all the other guides. Beside the guides, in every city we visited there was a Trinetra representative checking up on us and asking if there is anything else we can do.About the tour: Prior to booking our tour we did our homework and searched the net to find what we wanted to see the most. Trinetra will give you a vary good proposal and show you the best stuff, but I highly recommend to research a little bit on your own as India has so many hidden gems just waiting you to discover them and find your favourites, so if you have time dig and discover something for your taste. That is what we did and it was a Jackpot. Abhaneri step well is a true wonder and if you love monkeys do not miss Galwar Bagh (we were so lucky to visit the temple on Shivas birthday so we were able to see how it is celebrated by Indian people)Security and Cleanliness:Before you go to India you should know it is dirty all over the places. When you keep it in your head and know what to expect it will not shock you so much when you see it :-)We were with our guide or our driver at all times and not even for a second I felt unsafe. Realy, did not pay more attention about my stuff than in any other city in the world. Just be smart and reasonable.Hotels: Trinetra will propose the hotels they usually work with and most of them are OK, but realy expect from some of hotels not to be as clean as you would expect. We stayed at Connaught place in Delhi (room was very nice but bed sheets were dirty), Naila Bahg (heritage hotel) in Jaipur - great place but again filthy bed sheets and poor breakfast choice, Trident Hotel in Agra - everything was great - room, service, amenities, hotel, food, Chomu Palace (herritage) - hotel is in the middle of Chomu village and we found it very nice as it is a former palace and here everything was great also.If doing the same tour again we would stay again at Chomu & Trident.Biggest pro's: - professionalism, reliability, safety, willingness and doing their best to meet and exceed your expectatons Biggest con's:- not about the agency - but generally low level of standards in hotels Our tour highlights: Taj Mahal - out of this world beauty, Abhaneri Step Well, Hindu temples, Glawar Bagh, monkeys! We will definitiely come back to India and will definitely hire Trinetra, so far it did not happened to me to have such confidence in an agency. Realy, realy goooood job for Trinetra!
